Happy Eastern everyone!
My final pre-single "Under Northern Skies" is released today and I'm happy how the music video turned out, which I filmed last week in Riva Del Garda at dawn on my own:

In the next 2 months I will finish mixing and printing the final album and I also did plan already a tour and won over locations from Berlin, over Hamburg to Köln. More information soon! I also found a publisher for the printed Vinyl Edition (I know religion, but it feels so peaceful...).

My 2nd single "On The Road" is out! You find the cool music video down below and here the Spotify link. I had the chance to play the last 10 days at the Songbird / Singing City Festival in Davos, Switzerland - it was a very nice experience, I meet so many musicians from all around the globe and it acutally inspired me to try to do my music in an english speaking country or somewhere else then I did before... lets see!

Es gibt jetzt noch ein 2tes cooles Musikvideo aus dem Goethe Park in Weimar, dass ganz spontan zu den Demo-Vocals des Songs entstanden ist, als ich Straßenmusik in Weimar gemacht hatte und dabei den Fotografen Manfred Lapinski kennen gelernt hatte. Das war denke ich die Geburtsstunde meines neuen Albums: ich hatte wieder richtig Lust Musik zu recorden und eigene Songs zu schaffen, weil mir das Videomaterial zur Musik gut gefiel. Meine erste Single "Dear Brave New World" von meinem kommenden Album "Broke but happy (at Lake Success)" erscheint nun am 26. Oktober. Mit dem Album wollte ich meine Straßenmusik Erfahrung als Singer-Songwriter über die letzten Jahre einfangen und ein Selbstportrait kreieren, bei dem ich alle Instrumente spiele und auch für die Aufnahme, Mix und Master verantwortlich bin.

I happily announce hereby my first single "Dear Brave New World" of my upcoming album "Broke but happy (at Lake Success)". This album took me quite a while and is the sum of all my street music experience I could gather in the last years all around Europe. I did most of the final recordings this February and Summer. I wanted this album to be a self-portrait and did not just play all instruments by myself, but also did the recording, mix and mastering. I decided to release this EP before going on with my new LP, which I have been working on the last few years. The Tas Phania EP has never been released digitally and is something I have recorded before my time here on Instagram - so before most of you have known me. It was my 1st piece of art which I performed at local german venues. I'm very proud of the songs, their rawness and vibe. All 6 song recordings took place between 2012 and 2014, so when I was really young, full of visions and dreams. I realized that nowadays I really enjoy the first recordings of Bob Dylan of 1962/1963: they were not polished or perfect, but seemed so raw and real to me. So I thought it might be a good step to reveal my past to you too. I'm also planning 2 videos for Instagram and Youtube, so keep on checking me on my socials: maybe we have a chance to even hit a spotify/tidal curator playlist (therefore please pre-save)!

Foi a minha primeira obra de arte que apresentei em locais alemães locais. Estou muito orgulhoso das músicas, sua crueza e vibração. Todas as 6 músicas foram gravadas entre 2012 e 2014, então quando eu era muito jovem, cheio de visões e sonhos. Percebi que hoje em dia gosto muito das primeiras gravações de Bob Dylan de 1962/1963: não eram polidas nem perfeitas, mas me pareciam tão cruas e reais. Então pensei que seria um bom passo revelar meu passado para você também. Ich habe mich entschieden, diese EP zu veröffentlichen, bevor ich mit meiner neuen LP fortfahre, an der ich in den letzten Jahren gearbeitet habe. Die Tas Phania EP wurde noch nie digital veröffentlicht und ist etwas, das ich vor meiner Zeit auf Instagram (also 2019!) aufgenommen habe – also bevor die meisten von euch mich über Straßenmusikvideos kannten. Es war mein erstes Kunstwerk, das ich in deutschen Bars und Kleinkunst-Veranstaltungen aufgeführt habe. Ich bin sehr stolz auf die Songs, ihrer Direktheit und lebendingen Stimmung. Alle 6 Songaufnahmen entstanden zwischen 2012 und 2014, also als ich noch einiges jünger war, voller Visionen und Träume. Ich merkte, dass ich heute die ersten Aufnahmen von Bob Dylan von 1962/1963 sehr genieße: Sie waren nicht ausgefeilt oder perfekt geschliffen, sondern erschienen mir so direkt und echt. Also dachte ich, es wäre vielleicht ein guter Schritt, euch auch einen Blick in meine Vergangenheit zu zeigen. Ich plane auch 2 Videos für Instagram und Youtube, also checkt immer mal Instagram oder die Website hier bis zur Veröffentlichung: vielleicht haben wir ja sogar die Chance, auf eine Spotify / Tidal Kuratoren Playlist zu gelangen!

Currently I produce every day on my new album and can't wait to share it with you once it is finished! At the moment I'm working on the 6th track, I think I'm getting all done in December!
I have two gigs close: this Firday (25th November) at the Veedel Club I open up the show for Chanterella with a 30 minutes set.
And on 16th December I'm happy to play at Klosterlichter Euskirchen at 8 p.m. - some Christmas vibes promised.

Momentan produziere ich jeden Tag an meinem neuen Album und kann es kaum erwarten, es mit euch zu teilen, sobald es fertig ist! Gerade arbeite ich am 6. Track, ich denke ich werde im Dezember fertig!
Ich habe zwei Gigs in naher Zukunft: An diesem Freitag (25. November) im Veedel Club eröffne ich die Show für Chanterella mit einem 30-minütigen Set.
Und am 16. Dezember freue ich mich, um 20 Uhr bei Klosterlichter in Euskirchen zu spielen. - etwas Weihnachtsstimmung ist garantiert!

No momento, estou produzindo meu novo álbum todos os dias e mal posso esperar para compartilhá-lo com vocês assim que estiver pronto! No momento estou trabalhando na faixa 6, acho que terminarei em dezembro!
Eu tenho dois shows em um futuro próximo: Nesta sexta-feira (25 de novembro) no Veedel Club eu abro o show do Chanterella com um set de 30 minutos.
E no dia 16 de dezembro, estou ansioso para tocar no Klosterlichter em Euskirchen às 20h. - algum espírito de Natal é garantido!

I decided to post here news again and to use this section as a blog. My main reason is to have a place, where you can simply read my thoughts without any kind of interaction, neediness to interact or whatsoever... I realized during the last year that social media changes the way I write (or even think) on these platforms - to fulfill the norm of individual success which is blasted up and heavily distorted on these places. I think this makes us inhuman.. surveillance capitalism (frankly spoken: that you are permanently pumped full of advertising / advertisements / posts, which are tailored to your individual behavior on social media/ your smartphone that are selected with the help of the automated analysis) has its dark-side. Anyway, I play my next gig on the 14th October at the Fünf Sterne Oslo in Brühl at 8 p.m. I will play original songs and some covers. Hope to see you, xo Max

Ich habe mich entschlossen, hier wieder Neuigkeiten zu posten und diesen Bereich als Blog zu nutzen. Mein Hauptgrund ist, einen Ort zu haben, an dem man meine Gedanken einfach lesen kann, ohne jegliche Art von Interaktion, Interaktionsbedürftigkeit oder was auch immer ... Ich habe im letzten Jahr festgestellt, dass Social Media die Art und Weise, wie ich schreibe (oder sogar denke) verändert - um die Norm des individuellen Erfolgs zu erfüllen, die an diesen Orten stark verzerrt und karikativ wirken und dargestellt werden (eine Karikatur des Kapitalismus?). Ich denke, das macht uns unmenschlich und unsozial. Der digitale Überwachungskapitalismus (auf gut deutsch: das ihr auf Social Media mit auf euch individualisierter Werbung / Anzeigen / Posts vollgepumpt werdet die mit Hilfe der automatisierten Analyse eures Verhalten vor dem Smartphone ausgewählt werden) hat seine dunkle Seite. Wie auch immer, ich spiele meinen nächsten Gig am 14. Oktober um 20 Uhr im Fünf Sterne Oslo in Brühl. Ich werde eigene Songs und einige Coversongs spielen. Ich hoffe wir sehen uns! xo Max

Resolvi voltar a postar aqui novidades e usar esta seção como um blog. Minha principal razão é ter um lugar, onde você possa simplesmente ler meus pensamentos sem nenhum tipo de interação, necessidade de interagir ou qualquer outra coisa... Percebi no último ano que as mídias sociais mudam a maneira como escrevo (ou até penso) em essas plataformas - para cumprir a norma de sucesso individual que é explodida e fortemente distorcida nesses lugares. Eu acho que isso nos torna desumanos.. capitalismo de vigilância (falando francamente: que você está permanentemente cheio de publicidade / anúncios / postagens, que são adaptados ao seu comportamento individual nas mídias sociais / seu smartphone que são selecionados com a ajuda da análise automatizada ) tem seu lado escuro. De qualquer forma, farei meu próximo show no dia 14 de outubro no Fünf Sterne Oslo em Brühl às 20h. Vou tocar músicas originais e alguns covers. Espero te ver, xo Max
